About Me & Bloganith

Hey Guys, Welcome to Bloganith. Let me introduce myself. My name is Shamil Rasheed. I have completed my bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering in the year 2014 at National Institute of Technology, Warangal. But I do not have any idea what I have done over there for four years 🙂

Bloganith is a name which is derived from two words namely Blog and Ganith which in Hindi means Mathematics. Bloganith is one blog which is developed by a group of people who are planning to develop blogs for science and technology. The reason for starting Bloganith is because I love Mathematics. I do not say that I am an expert but I am still learning more about it. Mathematics has been one of the subjects with which my relationship has changed over the couple of years. I developed an interest towards the subject when I was in eighth standard. Before class eighth, I remember getting low marks in mathematics for which I got scolded by my parents and my teachers.

But from class eighth on wards, mathematics seemed to be interesting. Years passed and I got a seat in National Institute of Technology, Warangal. There was Mathematics. But this time it appeared in four parts and became more complex. Calculus dominated most of the college life. It was always about dy/dx and alpha, beta, gamma and many other Greek alphabets. But still it was interesting to solve such problems. Then after two years, the subject of mathematics was not taught. But it was there in all the engineering subjects. You won’t be able to find an engineering subject without mathematics involved in it.  So, Mathematics is one of the subjects which has become an integral part of an engineer’s life. Then after four years of college life, I got a job in a reputed company. One day, I was doing a calculation in my office. The calculation was interesting to do that made me think why can’t I do a job which involves maths only. I was fond of writing as well. So, I thought why not bring these two jobs and create a blog. That is how Bloganith came into existence.
